Denmark has expressed its concerns about the mass execution carried out by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a speech delivered by its Ambassador to the Human Rights Council, Mr. Morten Jespersen, on March 22, 2022, under clause number 4 of the 49th session, Denmark reiterated its strong opposition to the death penalty
Jespersen also indicated that his country is concerned about the persecution of civil society activists in Saudi Arabia, and Saudi Arabia had carried out mass executions on March 12, 2022. And despite the intimidation practiced by the authorities on civil society, numerous violations were documented in several cases.
