Luxembourg Expresses Concern Over Saudi Violations in Yemen

Luxembourg considered the situation in Yemen to be of great concern, especially after the escalation of violence and the aggression of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on infrastructure and civilians.

Luxembourg's ambassador to the Human Rights Council, Mr. Marc Bichler, indicated in his speech under the fourth item of the work of the Human Rights Council on 22 March 2022, that the war had reached its seventh year. He explained that more than 16 million people do not have access to clean water, and millions do not get enough food.

Luxembourg called on the parties to the conflict in Yemen to stop the attacks on civilians and infrastructure. In which that in March 2015, Saudi Arabia led a military coalition against Yemen.
