Austria and Finland express their strong disapproval of the mass execution in Saudi Arabia

Austria has expressed its strong disapproval of the mass execution carried out by Saudi Arabia, which resulted in 81 individuals deaths.

In a speech under the fourth clause of the 49th session of the Human Rights Council on March 22, 2022, the Austrian ambassador, Ms. Elisabeth Tichy-Fisslberge, confirmed that her country has always condemned the death penalty. Vesselberger considers that the death penalty has no place in today's world.

Also, the Ambassador of Finland, Ms. Kirsti Kauppi, expressed her country's strong disapproval of Saudi Arabia's resort to the death penalty and its mass execution.
