2023<\/time><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Denmark condemned the deterioration of human rights in Saudi Arabia during the discussions of item four of the 54th session of the Human Rights Council on September 26, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement delivered by a member of the permanent delegation in Geneva, Ms. Astrid Ruge, Denmark highlighted Saudi Arabia's use of the death penalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">According to the European Saudi Organization for Human Rights, Saudi Arabia has executed at least 109 people since the beginning of 2023, while at least 65 people,
